The Excel Cryo Cooling System has been utilized in a study conducted by a New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Airling/Vitalink (Wilmington, NC) to maintain cooling in cardiac arrest patients during prolonged transports.

The study will be featured at the American Medical Transport Conference Scientific Assembly (AMTC), as a poster and oral presentation based off an abstract written by Kevin Collopy, et al.  AMTC will take place September 22-24, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee.
